In conversation with Duriya Kasubhai

Hey Guys! Welcome back to another fun-filled chatting session with Duriya Kasubhai, the author of “The Strange Encounter”

Without wasting any time, grab your cup of coffee, and let’s begin the fun conversation.

Hello, Duriya! Tell us something about you and your book.
It has always been my intention to write stories with a distinctive flavor to it. I was inspired to write about women empowerment, to portray women as strong and capable, able to handle situations with expertise and confidence. I believe in a woman maintaining her stance.
From where did you get the idea of writing this book?
I always had the urge to write about a couple of young women working towards a certain goal; their strong independent spirit urging them to venture out on a mission to fight corruption and dark elements at all levels.
The plot is quite refreshing with so many characters. How was your journey with this book ???
My writing journey started way back, and what motivated me to write were my many life experiences as that’s how I could express myself.
It was an exhilarating experience to give life to each of the protagonists and making them come alive.
This book says it all; how a woman fights all odds and emerges the Victor in trying circumstances; never once permitting her self-esteem to be tampered with.
To brief it up my Journey of writing any of my books has been quite satisfying.
This sounds really great.. Did you face any rejections for this book??
I decided to take the self-publishing route as traditional publishing at this point in time seemed like a distant realization.
So, what are the other things that you enjoy apart from reading and writing??
Traveling, essentially speaking, and Listening to Music.
Traveling and music are the best combinations, I suppose. What do you like to read more, as in what is your favorite genre, and what are your evergreen favorite books ??
I have repeatedly read Harry Potter. I love reading mystical books; particularly the Supernatural.
Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with negative feedback?
Yes, I do read reviews and one has to accept the good with the bad, I guess.
What do you want to say to your readers??
I sincerely want my readers to enjoy my every book with spontaneity. My reader’s joy in reading my stories would in fact be my greatest achievement. To reach out to people globally. My readers play a very important part without which the message that I put across through writing and my many personal convictions would go unnoticed.
That is wonderful. With that, we arrived at the end.
Wishing you all the good luck with your book and hope to read more from you in the future.
Enjoyed it?? Do not forget to like, comment, and share.
